On April 1, 2021 the Heritage Calgary board approved the following site to be updated to the Inventory of Evaluated Historic Resources.

Re-evaluated as a Community Historic Resource

The Suitor Residence has person value through its builder and original owner/occupant, Robert Suitor, a well-known building contractor who served two terms as Alderman. (Person/People Value—Community Significance)

The house has style significance as an excellent, early example of Queen Anne Revival domestic architecture in Calgary. (Style value—City Wide Significance)

It has landmark significance as an early house in present-day Inglewood and was considered “one of the finest houses in the locality” when completed. (Landmark value—Community Significance)
