2023 Provincial Election Survey

Heritage Calgary worked with our partners in the heritage and museums sector to develop a provincial election survey for parties to indicate their positions on heritage and museums in Alberta.

The letter was jointly written by the Alberta Museums Association, Heritage Calgary, and the Edmonton Heritage Council, with 9 additional signatory organizations: Alberta Genealogical Society; Archives Society of Alberta; Arts & Heritage Foundation, St. Albert; Calgary Heritage Initiative (CHI); Central Alberta Historical Society; Chinook Country Historical Society; Edmonton & District Historical Society; Historical Society of Alberta; Lethbridge Historical Society; Société historique de francophone de l’Alberta.

2021 Municipal Election Survey

The 2021 Municipal Election is bringing many new faces to the table, with more than half of Council not running for re-election and with over 20 candidates for Mayor.

Heritage Calgary took the opportunity reach out to all candidates to ask about their point of view on heritage issues and policy. We asked them to complete a brief survey; below are the responses we have received.
