On June 25, 2021 the Heritage Calgary board approved the following site to be updated to the Inventory of Evaluated Historic Resources.

Evaluated as a Community Historic Resource

The Wright Residence, built in 1914, is valued for its association with the early development of the prosperous Elbow Park community, one of Calgary’s finest residential developments, and for its association with the Wright Family, one of the earliest and long-time owners of the home and a socially prominent family in Calgary (Symbolic Value – Community Wide Significance).

The Wright Residence is further valued as a picturesque example of Craftsman-style architecture in the Elbow Park neighbourhood, at the height of popularity in the 1910s (Style Value – Community Wide Significance).
