The Grace Presbyterian congregation was established in 1905, and this church has provided continuous service as a place of faith since 1913. (Institution Value, Community Significance)

The church is a beautifully crafted, highly intact and very refined example of the ecclesiological Gothic Revival style in Calgary designed by Smith & Gemmell. In addition to being a sensitive Midcentury addition, the 1962 side-gabled Reeve Memorial Chapel by Rule, Wynn & Rule is equally well-crafted and intact. (Style Value, City Wide Significance)

Grace Presbyterian Church is a very rare place of faith using sandstone construction; the church’s circular sanctuary and gallery are also notable. (Design Value, City Wide Significance)

With its corner location, three-storey bell tower and grand east staircase, the church is a well-known landmark in the community. (Landmark Value, Community Significance)
