On November 13, 2020 the Heritage Calgary board approved the following site to be updated to the Inventory of Evaluated Historic Resources.

The Christie Ranch House, located on former ranch lands established ca1889 and operated for well over a century, possesses activity value for its associations with ranching. (Activity Value, City Wide Significance)

The home is significant as a Vernacular-style ranch house constructed of local sandstone. Built in the Victorian era, the ranch house also shows influences of the Queen Anne Revival Style. (Style Value, Community Significance)
